The end sockets are hardened and protected from corrosion by chromium plating. They can withstand high and prolonged loads. The twelve-sided profile provides greater freedom for positioning the socket on the fastener. The angle of rotation of the socket between the faces of the fastener is 30°. It is used for working with twelve-sided and hexagonal fastener profiles. The special textured surface on the base of the socket improves grip characteristics and prevents slipping in hands. You can also purchase a set of 1/2" twelve-sided sockets or a tool set with 1/2" end sockets.
