The sockets are hardened and protected from corrosion by chrome plating. They can withstand high and prolonged loads. The twelve-point profile allows for greater freedom in positioning the socket on the fastener. The angle of rotation between the edges of the fastener is 30°. It is used with twelve-point and hexagon profile fasteners. A special textured base on the socket improves grip and prevents slipping in the hands.
