The socket wrenches are hardened and protected against corrosion by chromium plating. They can withstand high and prolonged loads. The hexagonal profile is the best for applying loads to a classic hexagonal fastener. The elongated shape of the socket wrench allows working with fasteners on relatively high studs or with deep-seated threaded parts. The special knurled coating on the base of the socket wrench improves grip and prevents slipping in hands.
