The socket heads are hardened and protected against corrosion by chromium plating. They are not afraid of high and prolonged loads. The hexagonal profile is the best in terms of applying loads to classic hexagonal fasteners. A special knurled pattern on the head base improves grip characteristics and eliminates slipping in hands.
